Been catching up on some TV shows.  So these are my thoughts on some of them.

Psych )

Covert Affairs )

White Collar )

Mad Men )

Eureka )

The Guild )

Um...I think that's about it with all the TV shows I've been catching up with and/or watching lately.  I'm way behind in Burn Notice so it'll take me a while to get caught up with that.

Now some pimping time!  For land comms I'm in.

- [livejournal.com profile] scifiland .  Join.  It's awesome.  There's team hero, antihero, villain, and sidekick.  It incorporates any sci-fi show into its challenges so there's plenty of variety.  If you like Firefly, Farscape, Stargate, Primeval, etc., then this is the comm for you.

- [livejournal.com profile] fantasyverse .  This land comm has teams night, light, wizards, and warriors.  You like Merlin or Buffy or Angel?  Then this is the comm for you.  There's a lot of variety and fun challenges to do and you compete with other teams.

In other news outside LJ, I finished playing the Ghostbusters game.  It was good.

Speaking of LJ, I've heard the whole twitter/facebook/LJ debacle, and I for one don't really like it.  It's like Facebook is for family.  I would think twice before sharing my LJ over at Facebook.  Or vice versa.  And Twitter, well.  That's Twitter.  I use it, but I don't really do any cross-posts because that's just me and I'm just too lazy to figure out how to do that.

(Actually, I use Twitter on a daily basis more than LJ at the moment.)

(Speaking of Twitter for some reason I can't see the the followers who are following me and I'm sure most of them are those annoying spam followers.  I know because I'm not that popular in terms of fandom online to have 53 followers.  But I can't see the list to remove those spam followers.  It's annoying.)(I love Twitter, but it has its issues that frustrate me.)

And Dreamwidth--I finally broke down and got my own but I'm using it mostly as a back-up.  I'm not on there a whole lot.  Or at all.

And school hasn't started.  Won't start until September 23.  I'm feeling a little bit deprived of knowledge at the moment.  Which is probably why I resorted to reading a history book about knights, which is quite fascinating so far, but I miss the thrill of school and just learning.  Of course, once it does start, I'll probably be insanely busy, what with it being not community college (that was so easy).  Which I'm prepared and ready to handle.  Bring on the stress of university!  I can handle it!  (I'll probably regret typing those words later in the future when I'm actually stressed from school but whatever.)

I am back from Twitter!

I have been totally neglecting my LJ.  Because of Twitter.  For some reason, I like typing 140 character updates instead of paragraphs.  I really don't know why but I do and so I've just been over on Twitter a lot.  (My username is the same over there as it is for my LJ, BTW, for any of you reading this who wants to follow me on Twitter.)

School )

How I Met Your Mother )

White Collar )

Psych )

Caprica )

Life on Mars )

I still have to watch the latest NCIS, NCIS LA, Castle, and Criminal Minds episodes, which I'll do sometime tonight/tomorrow (in between reading for school).  (Also, NCIS.  TBH, I'm getting quite bored of it.  NCIS LA interests me more, but that's because of the new characters.  I'm just sort of ready-ish and at the point where if I miss an episode of NCIS, then oh well.  Same thing is happening with SPN.  I watched half of season 5 and then it started up again in January and I was all, 'Oh well.'  Seriously.  I am dropping more shows now than I have in the past.  Past-me would be condemning future-me for not watching SPN and considering giving up on NCIS.  And then future-me would be telling past-me to get over it.)
