I know I haven't updated in ages. I just haven't felt like it and I've been busy with school.
And now I feel the need to rant about my lack of creativity.
( My rant )
Other than that, life is going well. It's the fifth week of the quarter and I have midterms this week and papers left and right and I want to watch shows but I'm falling behind and all I can do is sort of hang on and try to complete everything I know I can complete and that are important to complete while trying to take a break and watch TV shows I want to watch.
...okay, that sounded more dramatic than it really is -_-
I watched the first episode of Being Human season 3. Needless to say I absolutely loved it. (And I won't give my opinion on the American version. I know I'll just complain about it if I watch it so I'm not going to watch it.)
( Being Human season 3 )
( Skins season 5 )
( Primeval )
Also I have pretty much given up watching any live TV at all. Even those that are taped on the DVR. Because I basically have no patience to fast forward through commercials. (I know, I'm so lazy.) But I also have no interest to catch up with a show because I have no patience to sit through 16 episodes to catch up with said TV show. (NCIS: LA, basically. Last time I watched an episode was September and then school started and my TV watching skills went downhill.)
Basically, all shows I'm watching are online and they're British TV shows. I don't know why but I prefer the short season (like 16 episodes or 13 or even 6) to the 22 (or 24 that NCIS sometimes had) because it just requires less of my time to watch them, or re-watch them even. American TV shows just demand so much of my time and attention and I just have no time to give to them. (Okay, I'm hoping that phrase didn't sound at all strange/weird.)
I just watched Cool Hand Luke for the first time ever. And before that it was The Towering Inferno. And next will be Bullitt. So I'm totally catching up with all those supposedly-awesome Paul Newman and Steve McQueen films. (I've already seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, and Cars, and The Great Escape, so I'm not entirely out of the loop on some films they did.)
( The Towering Inferno )
( Cool Hand Luke )
I'm excited to watch Bullitt. Only because apparently it has an epic car chase scene in it. And that it's supposedly one of the greatest car chase scenes in a film. Now maybe it's because I'm biased but I quite like The Blues Brothers car chase scenes. Only because of all the car wrecks and the fact that the Bluesmobile can flip over backwards.
