Well, tomorrow I go back to school...(I'm starting to like time spent not in school.)

Otherwise, my Lord of the Rings mini calendar where you can pull off a page to reveal a new pciture from any of the three movies is keeping me entertained. Today was Aragorn and Eowyn. Tomorow is Legolas. (Yes, I look ahead for the pictures.)

Tomorrow is Tuesday. (I wonder if we have Sci-Fi club tomorrow.) Tomorrow is also reading period, and on those days I always bring a lot of books...a whole lotta books.

I also have to write this essay for English (due this Wednesday--thank God it's Monday. I don't think I can write an essay tonight.) Also, I have a feeling rain is in schedule for tomorrow, but that's my guess. I hope we get a drive--I fear having to blow up my bicycle tires on my bike tonight (which I don't even know how to work the blowing-up-the-tires-thing. Guess I'll just stick to computers--it's what I do best.)

I really really really don't want to go back to school tomorrow.

No school today!! It's staff development day...unluckly, Santa Ana has school today, and my mom got a sub job, so naturally she and dad left the house to go to school to leave me and Kelly alone...in the house...

and it's raining :) and I'm currently bored, and am realizing that being bored isn't a good thing.

So I'm going to go off and work on this Lord of the Rings fanfiction I'm currently working on.

Did you know that J.R.R. Tolkien created his own language for Lord of the Rings??

Something is telling me to learn it...

don't ask what is (I think it's my over active mind--I latch onto things, such as shows and movies, instantly that I tell myself that if I want to be dedicated to the movie/show I gotta be dedicated.) Such as Firefly. No fan can not be a fan if they don't acquire the Chinese curse word gorram into their everyday vocabulary, or at least use it once or twice. Heck, even I myself had said it a few times outloud, is part of the process of being a fan.

Not every show/movie has its own language, however, and I think learning a language only LotR fans may know makes the dedication to LotR even special...that, or I can just latch onto Legolas and try to learn archery, but that makes me feel slightly uneasy (don't want to kill anyone accidentally.)

But that's just me. I'm a dedicated girl to shows/movies.

Restless Ideas
http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/spikestoughgirl99/

Only because I'm sometimes too lazy to add new wallpaper to my website, that link is where you can find all the wallpaper I ever made. It's the folder marked 'Icons/Wallpapers'.

Okay, so far I want to change my website name only because I feel that the name 'Light in the Dark' is getting kind of...old...it's needs not a better but a new and fresh name.

So far I've contemplated over changing it to Heroes in the Dark...but that's kind of like Light in the Dark. Then Restless Dreams, Restless Serenity, or Restless Slayer (but that name's already taken :( oh well). Then I thought of combining two of my favorite episodes from Angel and Buffy: thus I got Restless Heroes. But I don't really like that name.

Then I thought, 'oh well, I'll let the viewers decided which name they want to vote for'...two votes last time I checked...I'll just keep that poll up for another week. It wouldn't hurt.

Then I came to the realization that I need to promote my website more. Actually, I just came to that realization right now as I was typing :)

Okay, enough of my website depressions. Did anyone watch the Oscars last night? And can I say that 11 Oscars is far too enough for Lord of the Rings to win? I think there should be a limit on how much Oscars one movie wins :) not that I don't like Lord of the Rings, I do, but Pirates of the Caribbean was nominated for a few categories but didn't even win any. It should have at least won the Best Lead Actor (Johnny Depp).

I wonder when the next Star Wars movie comes out...

Today was sort of good. My computer in Research and Technology class didn't freeze on me, so that was a miracle (it's a Windows 98. I would bring my laptop to school, but I can't :) And then in PE, it was supposed to be 'fitness' day, but it was freeplay. Fanny and I were so relieved and happy.

Also, other good news, I'm going to get this show on videotape (Covington Cross, with Glenn Quinn in it. It aired a long time ago--'92 on ABC, basically. My mom saw it--I didn't. So I'm gonna get 4 episodes of this short lived series on tape from Mom's friend. And, just to add, this show takes place in the medieval(sp?) period, which is my favorite, besides the whole dinosaur era. Okay, I'll just shut up now :).

New episode of Angel tomorrow! I am so happy (yay! Puppet Angel! I hope they have a Puppet Spike or Wesley or Lorne!). And, I gotta admit, I sorta liked last week's episode (with the submarine and everything.) I know, I like episodes of Angel nobody else likes--such as The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco. I really loved that episode cause Andale! Which means hurry up or something.

If this season is the last of Angel (here's my crossing of fingers x I so hope it's not the last!), then I wonder which vampire gets the Shanshu--Spike or Angel. I can just imagine the writer's arguing over this subject :) And Joss scratching his head over this argument and then he finally decides, 'Heck, no one gets it!' or 'Angel get's the Shanshu and Spike gets Buffy' (or it can be the other way around.)

I hear on the Tru Calling Fox message board that there won't be another season :( while Tru Calling isn't really up there on my favorite show list (Angel, Buffy, Firefly, Tru Calling, and Highlander), I really want to see it go on for another season. Then it can be cancelled :) but one more season is all I'm asking for, Fox!

Also, yesterday I had to see Lord of the Rings: Return of the King...no words can describe what I saw (it was horrible! Okay, not entirely horrible. When Legolas brought down that looks-like-it-came-out-of-Star-Wars-elephant, I was cheering him on :) but I do not want to sit through 3 more hours again. My brother already saw it 3 times (can you say obsessed? I like Star Wars better).

Okay, this is a long post...oh well...bye!

EDITED TO ADD: Okay...whatever I said about Lord of the Rings is a lie...I kind of like it :) I don't know...maybe I was just jealous how Lord of the Rings was getting all the attention and Harry Potter was getting none (is it possible to be jealous over a movie?)
