So I saw Prometheus today.

And I'm really honestly ambivalent about it.  It's like I wanted to love it and I wanted to like it but I came away sort of disappointed and I have no idea why.

I really should stop comparing it to Alien, overall, because compared to Alien it just doesn't hold up as being a good film.

As a stand alone film, however, it's quite good.
