Cool
It's Edward James Olmos' birthday.  He's 60.  Which is not really that old.  I mean Mark Harmon is only younger than him...60 is not that old.  (I think it's sort of weird and strange that I love Mark Harmon, who's practically old enough to be my dad.  Well, I also love Adam Baldwin, who is as old as my day/sort of as old as my dad.)

Okay, so what happened to me lately?  I got a C on my Economics test!  McQuown=evil and doesn't even know how to have fun.  AT ALL.  She's a demon.  McKinley was more funner.  (Is 'funner' even a word?  I don't think it is.)  Let's see...I also got a B on my math test.  Which, hey, I expected to get an A, but what can you do?  *shrugs* ooh!  I also have a tardy.  In Econ.  Which is really astounding because I was late twice to that class, not once, so I expected to have two tardies, but I only have one.  (To make people feel better and to make myself feel better, yes, I have been trying to wake up earlier, like, say, around 5:30ish, and I've been trying to get to school at least 5 minutes earlier.)

I saw Ghost Rider last weekend.  I thought it was okay.  You know...I didn't really enjoy it as much as Fantastic Four or Spiderman or Superman, yet I wasn't totally against it either.  My only complaint?  The movie needs more characterization.

Then today I got my hair done and then Dad and I saw The Number 23 which has Jim Carrey in it and I so totally love Jim Carrey in any role any day.  I mean if I was on a desert island and I had only one DVD player and God had me choose between a comedy/drama movie with Robin Williams in it and a comedy/drama movie with Jim Carrey in it, I would pick Jim Carrey.  Because I like him significantly better than Robin Williams.  I don't know why; so sue me.  Having seen the way Jim Carrey could play serious roles in a drama and play a comedian, I just like him better.  He can be believable in both a serious role and a comedic role.  Robin Williams, sure, he was great in What Dreams May Come, but I didn't really connect with his character.  Or I didn't really believe the actor playing a serious character.  It's complicated.

Anyway, The Number 23 was good.  See it if you like mystery thrillers.  And Jim Carrey.

All right.  That's it from me for I so am tired and just exhausted.

(Also I picked up The Pink Panther with Steve Martin in it.  Hopefully it's good.  And yes, I have seen the originals with Peter Sellers in them.  Also I have seen, for the first time in my life, the entire movie Psycho.  The black-and-white-non-Vince-Vaughn one.  For the first time in my life.  So sue me; I haven't been caught up with movies like most teenagers.  In fact, I first saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off about two years ago, maybe one and a half years ago.  Same with The Blues Brothers.

And then the next movie we're going to watch will be North by Northwest, which, thankfully, I have seen before in video production twice in 7th and 8th grade.  Gosh, I sure do miss my childhood/pre-teenage years.  Life goes by so fast and we don't even acknowledge it.  Especially high school.  Which is why I have to say this: people who are still in high school shouldn't rush to want to graduate because before they do know it, they'll be in college.  So they should take the time and enjoy high school and not rush.)
