Still alive
I'm still alive.  I've just been really super busy.

Between the trip to Edinburgh and London and now it's midterms and I'm super behind on doing land challenges for the land comms I'm in.

(Speaking of, inception_land closed down.  Which I was sad over, but I knew there wasn't much life in it, but Team Forger--which I was in--did win the final round so yay for that at least.  Because it was the team's first win at inception_land and, coincidentally, the last ever win.  And though the comm is closed I refuse, for some reason, to take it off my friend's list because I really don't want to.  I like the land comm.  It was an awesome land comm and it really just inspired me to make icons and be creative.)

(And one of my icons came in second place, I believe, which was awesome.  It was this one. ))

I'm taking a lot of pictures.  I just need to get them onto my Photobucket account and then in the future I'll probably make multiple posts showing off the pictures I took.

So life at Cambridge is going well.  I'm being super anti-social lately.  I hang out with people I just don't want to go anywhere or do anything.  I just want to stay in my room and IDK read fanfiction or knit.  I need some me time.  (And I'm planning on going to Waterstones after I finish this essay that I have to turn in by 5 PM today.)

I'm seeing Harry Potter this Friday with some friends of mine so that'll be awesome.  Sadness because I didn't pack my Ravenclaw scarf.  I was planning on doing so but I was worried about my luggage being overweight so I took it out.

(And I've been doing a lot of impulse buying lately--I got an alarm clock that has the pattern of the Union flag on it and a messenger bag in London, and some key chains, some postcards.  I went to the Sherlock Holmes museum and got a hat, something for my friend and my dad, and some stuff.  Yeah, I've been buying a lot of stuff really.)

(And the different types of Cadbury chocolate they have here is amazing.  I love Cadbury chocolate so much.  And Jaffa cakes.  And Mars bars.  And ice cream.)

(Um...the food here is really good.  I had Scottish haggis in Scotland and it actually tasted quite good.)

This reminds me of the one time I went pub crawling with some other people in Scotland.  I'm not much of a social person at all so I did pub crawling for the first time.  It was interesting.  I only had a pint of cider and a shot of whiskey or something and then that was it for me.  Because I don't really want to drink a whole lot in the first place.  (Cider is my alcohol of choice.)

And then there was this intense hike in Edinburgh that was just super intense and I'm not a hiking person in the first place so it was torture but the view of Edinburgh from the top of the mountain thing was amazing.  Pictures will be posted in the future.

I miss Deadliest Catch so much.  I have a limit of 1 GB Internet bandwidth here or something like that so I've just sworn off downloading anything at all.

I bought a Top Gear DVD at HMV.

So this is my post.
