The Adventures of Aramis the laptop, part 3
And the final part, I swear.

Long story short, Aramis is running perfectly.

(In case some of you are scratching your heads wondering who the hell Aramis is, he's my laptop.  Yes, I named my laptop Aramis.  My little tiny laptop is Quinn.  IDK I was never obsessed with naming laptops before but I decided to call the laptop Aramis and now I've become quite attatched to the name.  It's like a sailor naming a boat, sort of.  It's just the object develops its own personality and you start regarding it as something that's a part of your life.

And that was my cheap anthropological perspective on why I named my laptop.)

I had to buy Windows 7 because something was wrong with the Windows Vista that had previously been on it.  And I bought Medieval Sims (so addicting I just can't stop playing it 0_0 I expect the novelty of the game will wear off in a week or so but until then...I also bought Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.  And I haven't played Dragon Age in forever).  So I'm just doing this throughout the days so far: wake up, school, get back home, browse around the Internet, play Medieval Sims, watch a film, realize I forgot to read for a class.

Yeah, I really need to get focused back on school.

I have all the old programs installed on my laptop again: PSP, iTunes, VLC, and the like, so it's almost like my old previous laptop (before it died/crashed), which is good.  Other than Windows 7, it seems like it never had crashed.

(Also, I like to think that Aramis got plastic surgery, for the most part.)

School is eating up most of the time when I'm not playing Medieval Sims or browsing around the Internet.  For the study abroad factor, I've turned in most of the paperwork I need to.  All I need to do is buy a plane ticket back home and upload some files/photos and then I'll be good to go for the study abroad trip for June.  (OMG I'm actually going 0_0 yeah, slightly freaked out.  I've never done something this big so far.  It'll be weird, new, scary, but it'll be one step towards independence, for me.  And I really need to do it.)

Basically, I don't think I'll start panicking until after the quarter ends.

As far as TV shows go or any entertainment besides the Internet/games, I've stopped watching any shows at all.  Other than HIMYM and Deadliest Catch, there's nothing else I've been watching, other than the odd films I get from Netflix (and even I don't watch those sometimes, if I have no interest to watch something.  I returned the film Harvey and I didn't watch it because I just had no interest at all to sit and watch it).  Lately I've been weird with watching shows/movies-I have to be genuinely interested in something to watch it.  Otherwise I just don't even bother.  It puts a damper on my fandom 'getting obsessed with something' life because I just have no interest to watch something (and my fandom life seems pretty empty, atm) but it does save me a lot of trouble of watching something I have no interest in.

Although I am rewatching Doctor Who season 5 to gear up for season 6 when it comes on.

Other than that, I haven't been keeping up with any shows.

Oh, apparently Psych has been moved to air in the fall for season 6.

I'd like to think they did that because they knew I wouldn't be around to watch it in the summer on account of me being in England but that's not really actually why they did it :P still, at least I know I won't be missing any major TV show during my 5+ weeks of studying/staying in England.

(Although, really, USA?  The fall?  Why can't they push back Burn Notice?)

Anyway, I have to go read for school.  Or do something else.  Because I've run out of things to talk about.
