Farscape and school and NaNoWriMo
Hopefully everyone had a happy/safe Halloween.

I went to a friend's house for a party, and I dressed up as a Blues Brothers again (that was my 2006 senior munch/Halloween outfit.  SInce then I had to get new black pants because of all the weight I lost between then and now, which, you know, it's good, but then clothes in the past tend to be just a little bigger for me.  Such as the black jacket and white shirt for the costume--they were just a tiny bit on the big side but then again I don't like shirts to be strangling me so the clothes being big were just fine.  I also got new sunglasses that are much better than my old ones).

I hung out with friends, talked to some, watched The Twilight Zone (two episodes: the Talking Tina one and The Howling Man), Are You Afraid of the Dark? (I am not embarrassed to say that I own the first five seasons of this on DVD.  Saw it on eBay some years back and impulsively bought it because it was such an important part to my childhood.  Although the fact that the disc with the Ghastly Grinner episode on it is scratched saddens me greatly, as that episode scares me some and I don't really want a sratched disc, but oh well)(we watched The Tale of the Dead Man's Float and the Night Shift episode), and an anime involving vampires and Halloween.

It was fun.

I also watched Hocus Pocus that day (on my own) because it's such a Halloween type movie (even though when it was released it apparently came out in July.  Yes, I still wonder why that was in the first place) and, like The Muppet Christmas Carol needs to be watched at Christmas, Hocus Pocus needs to be watched on Halloween.

Anyway, school has been keeping me extremely busy.  Way more busy than I want.  Of course, last semester at community college I was taking an online class and a couple easy classes so that seems, looking back, easy compared to now.

Just got finished with my last midterm (thank God) and now I have some time to kill, which I'll do it by relaxing.  And then I'll do homework and reading for class tomorrow.

Because I'm doing NaNoWriMo this month and my goal is to write, hmm, IDK, 80,000 words maybe?  I'm trying to go beyond the 50,000, at least.  And yesterday I wrote 3222 (okay, 3216, going by NaNoWriMo's word count verifier, but it says 3222 on my Word Document program) and I have a good feeling that I can actually write 3000 words today.

Also, it sort of taught me that outlines are good.  And that I should do it more often for other stories.

But yes, I probably won't be around during much of November and when I do it'll probably be a post of me freaking out over school/NaNoWriMo/life in general.

Also, Farscape.  My thoughts on Farscape  )
