Well, it's that time of the year again
No, not Halloween.  (As a reply to the subject title).  No...it's Santa Ana winds (which makes you want to stay inside, curl up, and not go anywhere...at all.  Unfortunately, I only had to go out of the house this morning and afternoon for church/choir stuff).  And plus when it gets dry, and the winds are as strong as right now, then fires are likely to erupt.  So now each time we inhale, we inhale smoke.  (Thankfully no ash, which would be more, you know, probably unhealthy.)

So now it smells like smoke, it's windy, and two of our recently planted trees (well, they were planted in summer, but are still, you know, young saplings *pauses* did I really just type that??) are almost to the point of collapsing.  Which makes me scared that a big tree will fall on a house and, you know, destroy the house.  (Or my car.)  I know it happened to one of my grandma's large trees (which was one of those trees you played on in childhood, and swung off it on a rope, and now that it's gone you sort of reminense about the time when you played on your grandmother's tree, and now you just miss it).

It's that time of the year again.  *stays inside*

Awesome/cool
The fire's sort of like 15 miles away, in the vicinity of Santiago Canyon and Silverado Canyon *is awesome* okay, so it may not be awesome for, you know, all the people who are actually in that vicinity, but from a point of view it is (or is that stand point? *shrugs* I don't know, my mind isn't working).

*has to go 'cause hands are dry and need hand lotion and lips are dry and need chapstick and water* (And my eyes!  Oww...they're dry...)
