I survived. I came, I saw, and I conquered...the first week of school, that is. So on the first day, it was easy. I thought I would've been nervous as hell, but I wasn't. But I did skip 0 period unintentially, that is. :) won't happen again, peoples. In fact, I sort of like American Government. The teacher is fun and plus Scott Felver's in the class with me, along with Samantha (from last year's English and each morning she smells like cigaretts or something. Yeah, she smokes. And you can tell if you sit in front of her/next to her) and Amber something-or-rather, from Latin last year. So it's fun.
Then next I have Pre-Calc Honors with Hughes. It's good. Seems like a challenging sort of class, but I'm up for a challenge this year. I've seen too many seniors slack off and I only hope I won't get that way this year. I have Cecilia something-or-rather in class with me, who I had in English last year, which is a great, big relief, because there's someone in that class I actually know versus not knowing anyone.
Next is Film Analysis. The dram teacher is so fun, it makes me wish I've taken drama instead. But I'm not. I'll probably take drama in college or something, just check it out and all for a fun class in college. But we're starting out with silent films and next Tuesday we're going to start watching the film The Gold Rush with Charlie Chaplin in it. I'm interested in seeing how the class will turn out this year.
Physics with Paul Roundy is fun; I think I'll actually learn something about Latin this year in Latin 4 H from the new teacher; and English with Sickler again=major brownie points. And I have 0 period this year. I get out early each day :)
Here endeth my first week of school.
Oh, everybody: listen to Black Horse and the Cherry Tree by K.T. Tunstall. It's good and addictive.
