Freshmen=prey
Something interesting I've noticed at school lately: freshmen are like prey in Africa.  Which means that the juniors and seniors are the predators and the freshmen...oh God.  There's this group of freshmen, at least I think they are, and they always sit in this area where we (my friends and I) sit at.  And my friends are juniors/seniors/two are sophomores though we don't hang out with them much anymore, but these freshmen, whenever they come, they come together.  Like they're afraid of seperating or something 'cause then a senior will attack them.  Or maybe they're just insecure.

And one more thing: they bring two lightweight blue blankets or rugs or whatever.  Light, something you can sit on...like a mat.  And they always bring two blue ones to lay on the grass in order to actually sit down.  And I'm thinkin, 'So what?  It's grass.  It's not gonna kill you.'  And that makes me realize: wow, freshmen sure do act weird.  Like they're older, but they're not, because they're just freshmen.  But they think they're older and boy, they don't know, do they?  They think high school's hard now, it's just gonna get harder.

Okay, we've already had a meeting regarding the sci-fi club.  And Sarah and Eric want to promote it in the morning announcements.  Here's what Eric came up with:  "Are you a geek, nerd, or just a freak?  If you are, come to the Science Fiction/Fantasy Club every Tuesday and Friday in room 112."  Okay, he actually didn't the "If you are..." part but the first part he came up with.  Which made me laugh.  Which made Natalie want to not be friends with him if anyone asks her if she is.  Which made me laugh as well.
