I have to drive at 10 this morning, for two hours. I don't know about all you (meaning people who read this entry) guys who drive, but for me, driving makes me absolutely tired afterward...but maybe it's just me.

Anyway, I took lots of pictures up at Lake Tahoe. I'll post them today (you'll be amazed--I took many pictures of these cute little baby chipmunks and their mother...aww!)

Okay, that's all I'm doing today (so far). I'm going to go reminisce about how much fun I had at Lake Tahoe with all my cousins...and go get ready for driving, of course (two hours...what did I do to deserve this?!)

Picture time...or not
Okay, I promised pictures later today...here they are! (They aren't as impressive as the Alaska pictures, but this is the first year at Lake Tahoe that I actually had a digital camera, so I took pictures :|...)

I'm waiting for photobucket to upload the photos, so just be patient (this mantra is directed at myself, tired and listening to Sting's We Workd the Black Seam...weird song...but it's so good, the beat and tune and good travel music).

Anyway, what did I buy at Lake Tahoe? Knitting needles :) knitting=relaxing. I bought Cascade Yarn (*laughs*) that was made in Peru (*laughs again* you probably won't get it unless you watch The Sentinel, in which therein lies the reason for why I'm laughin). Anyway, calendar, postcards (only two--I'm slipping!) and this cat model thing. It's more of a figurine, now that I look at it. They had all these figurines at this Alpaca whatever store (Native American gifts and all), figurines of cats (mostly cats), raccoons, bears, foxes--but the figurine that intrigued me were of these two cats, orange and black, in a sleeping pose. The orange cat and black cat are each cuddled up with eachother. See, this made my heart swell to see it because we, for those who don't know, we used to own two cats until one day our cute little Black Cat dissapeared without any warning and (darn...the coyotes got him) we were heartbroken. Now we're left with one cat, lonely, but still purring at some points :) anyway, when Black Cat was alive, Orange Cat and Black Cat occasionally cuddled up with eachother, because they were brothers. And the figurine just got me thinking about both of them together and I got it, just to think of when we had two cats :) makes me teary thinking about it.

[note: the figurine is made of rabbit fur...I know, I know, poor rabbit, but such soft fur too!]

Photobucket...grr...

while I'm impatiently waiting for photobucket to upload the images, here are some random stuff: is Sting's real name Sting? or what? I have completely got Singin' in the Rain's Good Morning song stuck in my head, even while I was driving this morning :) it was completely distracting, I can tell you that!!

Okay, I lied about the pictures!! once photobucket starts working then I'll upload some to this here journal (I am so tired...will go to sleep and then upload pics tomorrow morning instead.)
