Oh my gosh, it's almost December.

Yay?

That's it; next semester (2 weeks left of this semester!!) I will:

A. Not take a 7:00 AM math class.  Or any other class, for that matter (that starts at 7 AM, I mean.  I just re-read this part and I was all like, 'No, I will take classes next year!...just not 7 AM ones...;).  For next year is the church musical (re: will be bad.  I know it.  So much less strong singers this year; we've lost Chelsea, Brooke, I think Chris Kuzmich will come back next year which is yay because he's good, but all the female good singers are gone.  Sandy's still around.  Well, not really.  She's assistant director for chapel choir and this is deja vu 'cause I think I talked about this last month in a journal entry but oh well but she's magically also in chapel choir as well.

Helping out the altos.

And then when we practice Buxtehude, and song we're doing for Christmas, Hanan helps the altos out.  Hanan, as in director of choir.

Which is just very sad, IMO, because we don't have that much strong altos.  And everybody doesn't sing out.

Which, I know, guilty here.  I don't sing quite that loud.  Only when other loud people are singing, then I sing loud.  But I'm not a good singer and...I don't know.  But I know I'm the pot calling the kettle black here and I should really stop doing that because I'm black as well.  Or not singing loudly as well.  So...I'll stop.  But seriously, get some more altos in the alto section.  The sopranos have too many people, the altos have none).  And (we're back at school now, the subject of school) I want to get sleep next spring.

B. Don't take 17 units.  It may be fun.  But no.  Take 18 instead!  Actually, I don't know what I'll be taking next year.  I have a general idea, but I still have to make a schedule and all and...registration's next week I think.

And they cut out interesession during January because of budget cuts.  Now what will I do during January?

...

Probably watch TV.  And do housework.  But my mind--it will suffer.  I will read lots of books that month.

C.  There's no C.  Um...I still have to see a counselor and figure out how to transfer, because I still have required classes to take and so it's looking as if I'll be at community college for a 3rd year this time next year.  But note to self: do not be afraid to see counselor.  They're there to help you.

Um...

Meme?

Step One
* Make a post that contains 10 holiday wishes. Your wishes can be anything from simple, fandom-related things (an icon just for you), to medium (a DVD movie), to something really big (new car/computer/house/TV). But just remember; make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* Just remember, if you wish for real life things, please make sure your address or your email is listed so you can get them!

Step Two
* Surf around to see who has posted their list.
* If you see a wish that you can grant, make them come true!
* Take a few hours and create an icon or write a story for them - even if you think you stink at it. Or, if you have something they’ve wished for and no longer want yours – perhaps a gift certificate – that would be wonderful too!

1.  I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about the BBC program Merlin.  I finally found some episodes in part formation (as in episode 1, parts 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.; and on Youtube, might I add) and watched the first two and it's so so good.  So therefore: Merlin icon.  Please?
2. I heard this one song a couple years ago (or last year, depending on who you are; it was actually last year).  It was called Christmas/Sarajevo 12/24 by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  This year I was listening to Christmas songs and I thought to myself, 'Gee, that one song by that orchestra group was really good.  Darn it, I do not have the CD.'  So what I want is the track.  Of the song.  By the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  Or just the CD it comes from.  I'd like that to, since we only have one of theirs.  Which I have to go find to transfer to my iPod.  Mmm, holiday music...
3. Farscape season 4.  So far I've been buying Farscape seasons 1 and 2 off iTunes (bless their little iHearts for putting it up there, otherwise I might have never watched the first season) but I'm getting tired of doing that because I can't burn the episodes to a DVD disc I can watch on my DVD player.  Which, you know, I like having shows on DVDs.  Farscape being on my iPod, computer, and a massive external hard drive aren't at all comforting to me, really.  So if anyone has, say, the whole of Farscape season 4 on DVD or a good download of it I can actually burn to a DVD, let me know please.  Or any seasons at all.  It doesn't matter to me.
4. An icon of Barney from HIMYM, or Billy from DHSAB, or anything involving NPH.
5. How I Met Your Mother season 1.  I already have season 2 and 3.
6. A Bones icon of Zack.
7. A Bones icon of Hodgins.
8. The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart.  It has something to do with Merlin and Arthur, apparently...
9. The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.  Also has something to do with the whole King Arthur tale.
10. Because Merlin seems so much more fascinating than Robin Hood (IMO.  TBH, I finished season 2 of Robin Hood and didn't quite like it as much as season 1.  Marian became as bad as Bella in the Twilight books, you know, going back and forth between Guy and Robin.  Much was pushed into the background.  Allan and Guy, I liked.  I felt some really slashy moments between them, but maybe that was just me.  Yeah, but IMO, Robin Hood wasn't that good during season 2), I would like The Man in the Iron Mask by Alexandre Dumas.

Now I know that has nothing to do with Merlin and Robin Hood.  I went off on a tangent and realized, 'Hey, I don't have this book'.  So I'd like that book.
