At a Whedonverse convention this weekend. (It's actually a Buffy/Firefly/Dollhouse but that's quite a lot to type out every time I refer to it so Whedonverse con will suffice.)
I've had a lot of fun so far. Bought a Doctor Who t-shirt because it looked insanely awesome and there was a Tardis on it. Yesterday was sort of laid back but today will be even more busy and, from what it seems, even more fun so yay about that.
Anyway, Doug Jones? Amazing and awesome. He told a story about his role as Billy in Hocus Pocus and even did the voice and it was just completely amazing. And he was doing photos as well for those who asked, which, you know, considering how a photo op with him and Camden Toy are $59, a free photo with Doug Jones is quite awesome.
And as a result of the convention, my word count for my NaNoWriMo story is severely suffering. I'm trying to reach 80,000 or more this November and so I have to write about 3,000 words per day and yesterday I sort of didn't write any at all. Today, or tomorrow, I'll hopefully get some words in. Even if I don't, at least I can write some so I can stills stay above my target. Basically, even if I don't reach my goal of writing 6,000 words by the end of today, or 9,000 words by the end of tomorrow, I think I'm still ahead by a day or so.
Also, bought a purring Tribble. It was amusing. And it shakes and purrs every time there's a loud sound. I imagine the dog will be all enjoyed by it. He'll bark and it'll shake and purr. At least it doesn't squeak or else he'd play with it.
Okay, well, I have nothing else to write. I have to catch up on land challenges for all the land comms I'm in. I should probably do that now. Or with whatever free time I have.
