So...despite not wanting anything done to my teeth at all after having gone through the childhood trauma of teeth getting pulled and having braces, I decided to just go ahead and called for an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed (because one does sort of bother me. Not pain-wise, but food gets stuck and yeah, IDK, it just annoys me more than anything).
Unfortunately, that weekend is a. when the Can't Stop the Serenity event is going on on Saturday in Irvine, b. I have class on Monday (and I start school on the 23rd), c. IDK about a movie event that Saturday at my friend's house. We'll probably have one.
And I really want to go to see Serenity. Because it's fun. But I don't want to get my wisdom teeth removed next month because the last Friday of October is Halloween weekend and damn it I'm dressing up that weekend.
The whole the oral surgeon guy comes in the last Friday of every month is really a lose-lose situation. If I wait for December, then January 3 is when the new quarter starts, and either way I'll always have school on Monday after the last Friday of every month.
Am I slightly crazy? Yes. Yes, I am. But I think I can manage.
(Besides Serenity, I read they're also showing Dr. Horrible. Yay!)(Reason for my going, mainly.)
Except now I'm like extremely nervous to the point where I'm just wanting to cancel. 'Screw it all, I'm keeping my wisdom teeth' mentality. But if the one tooth continues to annoy me then it'll always annoy me and I hate having food get stuck in that tooth so it's coming out to save me from further annoyance. Bring it on! I can handle pain! (I'll probably regret typing this in the future.)
And sure, I coulda had it done over the summer, but what's past is past. Unfortunately. And if worst comes to worst, I'll miss the Can't Stop the Serenity (o_o). Which I don't want to do but I want the teeth extraction to be done and over with and not to have to worry about it in the future so...
at least Monday is a short day for me. Yay.
(still nervous. And worried. And mostly scared. Doesn't help Little Shop of Horrors is coming in the mail soon from Netflix. Thank you, self, you're just freaking yourself out even more over dentists.)
