...oh, and Valentine's Day. Happy that day as well...
I am so sick of the rain. Of the cold. Of course, it's not terribly hot, but I want the sun back :( I miss the sun.
This week was the first week of spring semester. I started Monday morning eagerly getting out of bed, like I usually do on the first day of school, and went off to my music 101 class that starts at 7 AM.
Then I came home, went over to battle the parking over at Santa Ana college (Wednesday--I could not find parking anywhere and I was crying because of that, until I resorted to stalking and finally one person told me where she was parked. I was in the right place at the right time and finally got a parking spot that day, but really, I was crying because I couldn't find one). Thankfully I got one and then I had yoga, which I find rather relaxing and nice.
It's not a strenuous thinking kind of class, so my brain doesn't work that much (because I overwork my brain sometimes). I decided to go to Target and buy my own yoga mat in order to not use the used ones in the room, so now I own a bright green yoga mat that I'll only use until June :/ hmm...at least I'll get to use it.
Then it was math. Calculus, to be precise. (Does anyone else think that sounds slightly scary?) The book cost a good $144, but apparently after math 180, there are two other classes that use the book. So no more buying math books in the future (hopefully...).
That night I had the TV and society class, and the teacher was good (I had him in the past for a film history class). We'll just bacially watch TV shows in that class (*crosses fingers for watching Buffy in that class*) and talk about the history of TV (and maybe we'll delve into The Man From U.N.C.L.E.? I watched some of the first episode of that show and it's so good...so far. Considering how I only watched half of the first episode, I really should watch more episodes).
Thankfully I held up the four classes easily. Then the next day was my Religion, Magic, and Witchcraft class (there are no tests in that class. But for the mid-term project we'll have to go to two religion-based locations/events, and that includes haunted houses and psychics :D hell yeah, going to haunted houses sounds like a fun field trip...for me. Since it's not a class field trip but...okay, I'll shut up now). And then it was the interdisciplinary studies class (called human sexuality. And interedisciplinary means it combines like biology, psychology, sociology, etc. approaches to the subject. I'm more interested in the psychology/sociology approach, but I'm a soft science sort of person. I hated biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics while in high school, though I did well in those subjects. I enjoyed learning sociology, psychology, and anthropology. And math).
Last weekend I tripped and scraped my knee and it hurts :( but on Wednesday during yoga we did some positions that invovled kneeling on the knees and my knee really really hurt after that.
Enough of my problems though.
Dollhouse tonight!! I'm looking forward to it :) so much that last night I had a dream that while I was starting to watch Dollhouse our cable company took the Fox channel right out of the line-up so I couldn't watch Dollhouse anymore :/ stupid dreams.
I still need to watch last week's Psych. Which I'll try to get to this weekend.
