*sigh* The front door is closed; the front lights are off. Hopefully every kid from now until the end of tonight will know not to knock on the front door, because I am done handing out candy.
Plus, I want to go watch Hocus Pocus for the night. (I'm just gonna go ahead and so buy the DVD. It's up there with The Muppet Christmas Carol, like one of those holiday films you have to watch every year during Halloween/Christmas.)
I saw a lot of costumes tonight. And two with no costumes at all.
But the most political one I saw was one with this sign around her neck that read No on Prop 8. And it was so political. It sort of made me blink twice and think, 'Wow. No on Prop 8. Hmm...'.
I'm just gonna say it and say that I am voting no on prop 8, but seriously, I don't think I've seen any other political sort of costumes four years ago, saying, 'Yes on Prop #' or 'No on Prop #'. Or if I have, I don't remember.
But really, it was...yeah, made me blink twice.
Okay, I will now go and watch Hocus Pocus. Because it's awesome. And it's Halloween.
