So my geology teacher was telling the truth; now I have about two hours to do absolutely nothing (I could work on my math homework and read a bit more of book two of The Dresden Files, but I don't want to do that now).
I am so tired. I stayed up until after midnight last night, which I haven't done since last year, I suppose? I don't know; I remember this one time in high school I'd take a nap during the night and then wake up and do homework and whatnot until 1 in the morning, but my mom told me off on doing that (she told me that, if I did that, I'd get into a habit, and who doesn't want to sleep through a whole night without getting up? who doesn't want insomnia? I sometimes try to sleep through the whole night, and I always do).
But yeah, mentally I'm just dozing off...probably will in my History of Film class when we watch The Graduate (which, hello, already watched. And it was good. And Simon and Garfunkel will put me right to sleep, especially with the repeated uses of Scarborough Fair).
So I predicted correctly; we re-staged The Naming sequence, so no one is one the stage except for those in full on animal costume (and I got upgraded! from a fish to a dove 0:) that's supposed to be a halo above my head...but yeah, I'm pretty excited. I now get to swing a fake dove around on a stick and try not to smack anyone in the face with the dove. Hopefully that doesn't happen on Friday or Saturday or Sunday night). We also re-staged The Return of the Animals somewhat; the elephants now enter from the front of the church, and we can take our time getting up there. Last night I tried being the head. It was dangerous |_| (yes, I am trying out new faces...because the only ones I use are :), :D, and sometimes :p. And I see these faces I want to try out and why am I talking about faces right now??). So the thunder clapped, all the animals move to get to the 'back of the ark'. And silly me! I forgot there was this one step. So what happens? I sort of bump into it, think, 'Oh yeah, I have to step'. But the elephant head already had momentum, and so the head nearly went down, but it didn't, so I went down, and so I quickly reorganize myself, get back up, and carry on walking up the stairs. Which I hate. And so now I have a bruise on my shin on my leg from where I sort of fell yesterday...
Getting hurt during rehearsals is fun (note the sarcasm). But really, oww!! And Jenny(?) sort of twisted her ankle on Monday, and yesterday I learned that Kelsey(?) Monroe is sick, and she's part of the snake, and here I am thinking, 'Okay, what else will happen?' Because if Amy Hallas' shoe can come flying off during a dance and Stuart can fall of the stage, then anything at all is possible to happen during the three performances. I'm just hoping no one falls of one of the top platforms or anything dangerous like that...
So now I have nothing to do...I'm just sitting here...doing nothing...yeah, I'm bored. And hungry. And tired. And I should really start taking pictures of people in their costumes, because to me, tech week=picture taking time. It's always been that way. Except Khrystina doesn't want her picture taken, and I haven't had any time at all to take pictures of anyone. I'll try to do that tonight, though.
And I sold a ticket! To someone outside my family (go me). So yay about that...
