I have nothing else to watch. So I'm stuck on the Sci-Fi channel as they show a Twilight Zone marathon. (Well, I could watch Jericho. But I'm way too obsessed with that show now to finish it so quickly.)
What happened to that one channel, TCM or something like that, showing a Marx brothers movie? I remember they did it last year... (don't tell me I actually have to get up and pop in Duck Soup or A Night at the Opera for myself...which, you know, eager to do that, considering it's been a long time since I've had a good laugh, but still...too comfy on this here bed I'm currently sitting on to actually get up. Plus it's cold. *burrows under covers*)
So me watching Jericho is what I've been doing this past weekend. (Really. I'm ditching going to a friend's New Year's Eve party just to stay and watch Jericho. And maybe perhaps Doctor Who and Gilligan's Island.)(And besides, I don't want to go anywhere tonight. I'm not one much to celebrate the passing of a year.))(There was this one meme I did a couple years back. It involved pictures and looking back at the year. I should find that and do it tonight.)
I've also started a new knitting project. I'm knitting a scarf for myself. Which I'm patterning after the one I made for Khrystina. (And I am so sad I didn't get a proper picture of that scarf before I handed it off to her. It looked really beautiful too.)
I had this really weird dream that Charles Dickens was alive (hee, I think I was channeling that one Doctor Who episode, because why else would I dream of Dickens being alive?) and I showed him The Muppet Christmas Carol. It was really amusing, considering how the Muppet Christmas Carol was entirely different from how I remembered it in my dream...and I was all like, 'This isn't how it starts! It doesn't start in a grocery store!' :D seriously, it was like an updated version of the movie, with Gonzo and Rizzo being in a grocery store talking about the homeless people who had no home and food. I don't know *shrugs* maybe perhaps I was influenced by The Muppet Show (need to watch more of that), Doctor Who, and Jericho. Because if I can look back on the dream and laugh at it now, then it was pretty crazy to be that laughable.
So, in conclusion, I'd like to say happy end of 2007, everyone! Hopefully this year was great (for all you who are reading this) and ended with a bang. (Or close to a bang.) Hopefully 2008 will bring better joy and happiness than 2007. (And, dare I say it, but better gas prices?)
