So apparantly a classmate of mine from high school died yesterday early morning--something about losing control of his car. I didn't really know him that well (the most we ever did was pass in the halls. And I think he might've signed my yearbook from middle school *doesn't really remember* I don't know. We were just classmates), but it still reminds you of how non-immortal we all are. So life your live to the fullest, guys.
Yesteday the power went out from 10:30 to around 12:00 PM, and so I didn't have Internet access for about twenty-four hours, because after the power outage the modem or router or something like that died, and so my mom had to get a new one. But then the Internet wouldn't come back up, so she was on the phone most of yesterday, and most of this morning, trying to get the Internet back up. And so we got it back up (which can be proved because of this journal entry).
:D I thought it was just our house that lost power, but apparently it was all over Tustin (well, not all over, but some other people reported power outages). When the power went out I asked my mom if she had paid the electric bill :p you can never be too sure (but she assured me that she did).
So it's been a good week. I think. Well, not good. Sort of okay. Nothing very important happened. So life was just as it is: life. I'm trying to finish knitting this Harry Potter Gryffindor scarf for my friend for her birthday (which is this month. On the 19th. Yikes) and I am so way behind it's not funny. I blame procrastination and NaNoWriMo.
On the other hand, when I do finish the scarf and give it to her, it'll probably serve useful considering that it's starting to get quite chilly (and chilly early in November? Such a rarity in Tustin). I'm just hopin that it'll rain sometime, because I really want rain to come. (Yay rain!)
As you know me, I never comment on shows. Unless I absolutely want to say something. So here I am. I'm going to give some of my thoughts on the last episode of NCIS and the last three episodes of Supernatural.
