So I was on IMDB and I decided to do a search for Hex. (Don't worry, this isn't a long story...sort of.) Anyway, I decided to look at Jemima Rooper's filmography (she played Thelma on Hex. You know, I could never really get into Hex despite all the reviews saying that it was like Buffy, except British. Yeah. I just had to add my two cents onto that show) and she played in The Black Dahlia (which I have also never seen before. One movie I do want to see, however, is The Presitge. It looks entriguing to me) and so I clicked on that movie and I found that this guy Mike Starr had starred in the movie. And I thought to myself (because I've been watching Due South lately), 'That's Beau Starr's brother!'
Turns out I was right. Anyway, I look on his filmography list and I then discover he was in the NCIS episode Black Water (from season 2), which I had no idea he was in an episode of NCIS. In fact, I didn't even know when I watched the episode. Yeah. Anyway, I found that sort of ironic or weird or strange or however you want to put it because David Marciano (who played Ray Vecchio in Due South) played in an episode of NCIS with Mark Harmon. And David was in Due South with Beau Starr whose brother Mike Starr was also in an episode of NCIS.
What was even more strange was that when I looked on Beau Starr's list of films was that he (Beau) was in the movie Summer School, which starred a very young (and very good looking, might I add) Mark Harmon. Who had brown hair. And looked extremely handome. I had no idead that he was in a movie with Mark Harmon. In fact, the first time I watched the movie Summer School all I conentrated on really was Mark Harmon, because seeing 1980s Mark Harmon with brown hair is quite a shock to the 2000s Mark Harmon who has white hair.
What I'm trying to say is is that in showbusiness all the people are, very literally, connected with each other through TV shows/movies. Although I still am trying to find a link between Buffy or any other show and the Marx Brothers. Just for fun. 'Cause I'm a geek like that.
