Warning: this is a fanfiction rant :)

So I'm trying to write the Blues Brothers fanfiction I started a couple days ago or something and at first I was doing pretty good.  Four pages or so.  Now I lost the voices of Jake and Elwood Blues.  I don't think I'm writing what they should say or I'm trying to picture the scene and the words don't sound like something they would say, which is making me frustrated, because no matter what, I always lose characters' voices.

Like for Restless Hero, the one with Doyle, I haven't written that in ages because Angel is too angsty, Wesley doesn't sound intelligent, and I totally lost Doyle and Lindsey's voice in that story, which makes me frustrated because it's put me on a stant-still on that story.  Something of a writer's block.

So now I need to watch The Blues Brothers again and all the episodes of Angel that have Doyle in it and then some with Lindsey to regain their voices again, but I know the next few days will be busy and I probably won't get around to it until next week or something, and even then next week will be busy too.

I hate it when I lose characters' voice.
