Been a long time since I updated/written in this journal thing, huh? Well...I blame real life and school.
We have an essay in histroy to write; the rough draft is due this Friday and the final draft is due next year the day we go back to school. At the same time, we're writing an essay on The Crucible in English with the rough drafts due next Monday, all typed up and pretty. I've decided to work on some of the history essay tonight and write more tomorrow while watching Fantastic Four (or, you know what, since we have a sub tomorrow in math and we're getting a review worksheet, I'll just work on the essay tomorrow. But the teacher'll know it'll be shit if I write it tomorrow, so I might as well get started on it today. It's only 4-6 pages. I'll do four just for now because I have no idea on how to write a DBQ. Hmmm...)
Hey, hey! At least I'm not in English Honors--Mrs. Bennett--I'm hearing some bad things about her. How she hates her students, and they hate her, and she hates Namba, and I'm convinced that Namba and Bohen are somehow friends, because they have the same humor >:/ that's my thinking face whenever I think too hard on a subject. Today in math was funny, though. We're doing section 10, which involves radicals and irrational numbers, like (-2 to the radical 3 power)to the negative 2nd power (that's not a real equation; don't do it) and this kid, Paul (who I realized after school that he was in my forensic science class. I'm dumb) asks where the 3 came from.
Bohen's reply?
He made it up. I've never laughed so hard in my life, it was funny. And then Andrew Fisher, this kid who Bohen just loves picking on...there's this girl Lauren who carries her calculator in a plastic bag because it was broken. Andrew asked, "Then why don't you get a new one with a cover?" Bohen immideatly (I didn't spell that right, I'm trying to write the incident down, don't stop me now) replied, "Fisher, just stop. Lauren, are you happy?" Lauren nods. "Than that's all that matters. Andrew...Andrew, just to let you know, female logic is all irrational/weird/something else. Do not fight it. Just nod and be happy with their reply. I'm telling you this to save you a few ex-wives in the future." Now, for everybody who thinks that's mean, when Bohen says it...
you know how some people have a weird sense of humor? Like, they make jokes, like friendly jokes, like you've been friends with somebody for a long time jokes. Bohen and Namba have that humor. And I love it.
Math and history=fun classes. I wish you had Bohen and Namba just to get free morning and pre-lunch entertainment.
..."ex-wives..." And then Namba...wow, I still have this comment he said.
He was talking in second period, about the Civil War. He said he was thinking ahead, and was saying that the South fought the hardest, but it came out, he said, as "the South farted the hardest." That is just hilarious! We all laughed...
*sigh* I love school...
