So, I know, I know, I'm not up-to-date on the old classic movies (re: Spaceballs) and, apparently and for some reason, my brother always saw them before me.
Yeah, here's another example on how I'm not up-to-date on the classic movies (might also want to add re: The Truman Show staring Jim Carry). Last night I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the first time.
All of it. Well, nearly all of it. With a scene that I recognized when we watched only part of it in Earth Science in ninth grade. Mr. Fishel was a great teacher, an awesome teacher. But the next time we watched a movie we watched Tommy Boy. And the first time we saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off we were in the middle of a scene, I had no idea what was happening, and I didn't even know what the movie was.
Now I know what it was and this is another classic example on how I am so not up-to-date on old classic movies.
My favorite part of the movie? Undoubtedly the car scene where the car suddenly goes backward, crashes through the window, and lands to the ground. And the whole musical scene. All of it was great.
