Insanity rant
Finally I got Rhapsody working...I know, I said that yesterday, but between yesterday and today I hit more roadblocks in Rhapsody. So I decided to give in a download the older version...I know, I know (at this point I have reached insanity and am talking to my conscious). It's not the new version, but at least you have Rhapsody...there there conscious (ignore my sanity NOTE: I AM SANE).

Anyway, off to listen to my music I missed ever since I got back from the trip!

Well...(angry rant)
It looks like the day I feared would arrive...(no, not 4th of July). It's the day when our beloved creator of a show announces its demise (okay, he made the post yesterday, but I read it today, so it's today that I found out the news). Yep...Fox won't order anymore episodes of The Inside, and with that, The Inside looks to face an early death, similar to Firefly and Wonderfalls (glad Tru Calling wasn't on the early death list--I'm glad Tru Calling slipped by Fox's grasp and went to 20 episodes for season 1...season 2, however, Fox was able to get a hold of slippery Tru Calling and kill it at 6 episodes)(have I mentioned how fun it is to write Fox as being a murderer of shows?? it's hilarious! I should write a story with Fox as the badguy, but in non-corporeal form).

So, let's see: Firefly, Wonderfalls, The Inside. That's three shows Tim Minear executive producer-ed for.

Firefly, The Inside, Tru Calling. Three shows Jane Espenson wrote for.

So either Tim is carrying all the badluck, Jane is, or it's all Fox's fault...hmm...have to go with the latter of the three.

Every show I love dies!!

I loved Buffy: that ended. Angel got cancelled, right as I was loving it. Firefly...good thing I didn't watch that when it was on air, or I would've been heartbroken. Tru Calling I immensely(?) enjoyed, and that got cut totally. Dr. Vegas (show that starred Rob Lowe; came out in 2004) got pulverized by, not Fox, but CBS (I think). And now it's The Inside--gee, I wonder if I love Prison Break, Bones, and 24, they will get cancelled by our loving Fox (I was being sarcastic, and yes, I am angry).

Shows that Fox cancelled that I love: 3 + 1 (Lone Gunmen--I forgot that!)
Shows that Fox didn't cancel that I love: 1 (well, 24 is good...but I think it will be cancelled soon, just wait and see, because Fox is that way with all the popular shows)

Sorry for the angry rant...I just need to vent...get a letter to Fox, demanding that they should bring back every show they cancelled...

Another rant, less angry
So, we're going over to grandma's house tonight for 4th of July. Normally, for 4th of July, for that week, we would go to Lake Tahoe, but this time we aren't, which is just awkward. Anyway, grandma is making it her point to question why mom is putting me through driving school (which starts tomorrow--9 to 4). My brother is also going along with me.

So anyway, grandma is wondering why I'm going to driving school when it's Kelly that needs to drive. I don't think grandma understands the importance of a 16 year old driving, but I do. In fact, Susie, when she was my age, went to driving school.

And then there's the fact that grandma thinks I'm still 15...(I'm 16).

Okay, maybe it's the fact that I'm the youngest grandchild and that she doesn't want to see me grow up to be 20 or 17, but can't she allow me to grow up?? am I doomed forever to be treated like a 15 year old that can't be allowed to drive?? When can I stray out of grandma's sight and get a car and learn to drive and turn 17?

don't answer that...
