We found the book Pygmalion yesterday...it was at the library :) dumb me for going to Barnes and Noble, thinking I might actually buy the book and then keep it after I read it.
Oh yeah, I also got the book The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien, which comes before The Hobbit and LotR trilogy. It's supposed to be a really difficult book to get into, as I've read by some people on Amazon...but I think I can read it.
They should've had Julie Andrews play Eliza Dolittle, and not the actress who currently playes it in My Fair Lady.
It is pouring...not kidding, it is like raining...actually raining, as in 'wow, anymore rain and the streets will be flooded' rain...as in this is like back East, seriously, in Virginia. This rain, I think it came from Virginia or back East at some Eastern state.
And then our next door neighbor across the street is like shouting. He's happy that it's raining, and it's like he hasn't seen rain before...
and let's all clarify on how none of us are impressed with this rain. I'm not. I saw rain before. In Virginia, it's just part of their lifes. It rains everyday in Virginia (sort of), so why should it be any different here??
Our days are a fraction of a second shorter--the Earth is basically wobbling on its axis because of the earthquake that caused the tsunami.
Interesting.
I've recently gotten into Jethro Tull--that man plays the flute so well...so so so so so so so so so well...Bouree is a great piece of him playing the flute...the entire song, all flute...in fact, mom has the sheet music--I should go play it right now.
I mean, it's rare to find a man playing the flute, in my opinion (unless I'm just assuming.) The only person who I knew who played the flute was Joey Spellman...and he was basically a bully who made all our lives in 4th and 5th grade a living heck...he was like Travis in World History. Travis is an annoying kid who annoys me...although this year I feel there might be a change of him bothering me.
